Celebrating Our JANUS Energy Award Winner: Steven Kreeger

The Energy Award is one of the most meaningful recognitions within our organization. It honors team members who not only deliver exceptional results but do so with a consistently high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. Steven was selected for his outstanding contributions in several key areas, including playing a key role in elevating customer satisfaction, stepping beyond the scope of his regular responsibilities, and providing exceptional internal and external support.

Steven was recognized for his exceptional performance in support of the Future Study Program 2026-2 (FSP26-2) Chief of Staff of the Army Wargame. His analytical expertise, adaptability, and commitment to capturing operational insights were instrumental in supporting the Integration and Analysis Branch's ability to answer critical wargame learning demands and inform senior leader understanding.

Throughout the event, Steven demonstrated exceptional analytical acumen while dynamically collecting observations across a broad range of activities in support of Learning Demand 3: How the Scenario Required Force (SRF) supports the Joint Force. He skillfully distilled complex observations into concise, discrete, and easily understood insights, ensuring seamless handoff to the night shift analysis team and maintaining continuity of analytical efforts across the event.

Additionally, Steven served as one of the primary points of contact responsible for recording and transcribing critical player conversations within the Normandy Conference Room. His efforts significantly enhanced the Integration and Analysis Branch's ability to integrate multiple data streams into a large language model, enabling in-stride analytical assessments and the rapid generation of Executive Summaries (EXSUMs) and event reports.

Steven's professionalism, initiative, technical expertise, and dedication to mission accomplishment were instrumental to the success of FSP26-2 and reflect great credit upon himself, JANUS, and the entire FSP team.
