At JANUS Research Group (JANUS), we believe energy fuels excellence. Today, we are proud to celebrate an employee who truly embodies what it means to bring passion, drive, and positive momentum to everything they do. Please join us in congratulating Joshua Pearson as a recipient of the JANUS Energy Award.
The Energy Award is one of the most meaningful recognitions within our organization. It honors team members who not only deliver exceptional results but do so with a consistently high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. This award recognizes those who uplift the people around them, strengthen our customer relationships, and contribute to the company's growth.
Joshua is one of two team members providing direct support to the Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) Command, and his work has had significant impact on JANUS support efforts. Joshua consistently brings strong attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality training products that support the sustainment and modernization of Navy construction ratings.
His contributions to the Builder (BU) rating earned recognition from NAVFAC leadership. In particular, Joshua completed a detailed Task and Gap Analysis focused on the Concrete Flat Work portion of BU sustainment training. He reviewed occupational standards, essential tasks, and required capabilities to pinpoint where current training did not fully align with operational needs.
That analysis led directly to the development of new "pull-cards" for use in Seabee Technical Trainer labs. These tools give Sailors targeted, hands-on guidance during training and help instructors focus on specific skill gaps. The result is more effective training and better-prepared members of the Naval Construction Force.
We are grateful for the energy he brings to JANUS every day, and we are excited to recognize his impact through this award. Congratulations, Joshua—your knowledge, work ethic, and commitment truly make a difference. You are a trusted and valued member of the JANUS team.
