Announcing JANUS Energy Award Winner: John W. Nicholas

We are pleased to announce John W. Nicholas as a recent recipient of the JANUS Energy Award. This award recognizes employees whose exceptional energy, initiative, and contributions advance the mission of JANUS Research Group (JANUS) while strengthening our internal and external partnerships.

John was selected based on his outstanding work and leadership, including contributions to new business opportunities, proposal efforts, customer satisfaction, and process improvements. His readiness to exceed expectations and support colleagues exemplifies the qualities this award honors.

John led the team from FID Functional Divisions and FCDs (Fires, Maneuver, Aviation and FBLP) to consolidate and refine c-UAS to reduce duplicate failed tasks and improve traceability with Joint c-UAS for prioritization across the services. His effort was the key contribution to Joint c-UAS to resource capabilities for current world events. John led another effort to analyze and integrate ASCC gaps (USARPAC, USAREUR-AF, and USAWHC) into the TBA assessment with a visualization tool at the FCC CG Gaps approval brief and solutions aligned to PAE programs.
