At JANUS Research Group (JANUS), we believe energy fuels excellence. Today, we are proud to celebrate an employee who truly embodies what it means to bring passion, drive, and positive momentum to everything she does. Please join us in congratulating Emily Isotalo, recipient of the JANUS Energy Award.
The Energy Award is one of the most meaningful recognitions within our organization. It honors team members who not only deliver exceptional results but do so with a consistently high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. This award recognizes those who uplift the people around them, strengthen our customer relationships, and contribute to the company's growth.
Since joining the T-7A team, Emily has proven herself to be a crucial asset whose positive attitude and willingness to find solutions are remarkable. Utilizing her experience in the Earned Value Management System (EVMS), she filled critical gaps in data requirements, created proactive measures to prevent variances, and provided assistance to ensure the project plan remained within EVMS standards. Additionally, she created an EVMS dashboard that provides real-time data which allows the team to make adjustments as soon as variations are noted. Her efforts have saved countless hours of labor and resulted in highly accurate reporting.
Emily also oversees 723 Contract Data Requirements List deliverables, in which she has provided meticulous tracking, seamless coordination, and timely notifications to the team and customer. These efforts were a key factor in the planning and execution of an accelerated timeline for the TSRA, that will result in its delivery 3 months ahead of schedule. In addition to these duties, she flawlessly managed $10k in travel funds for 6 personnel, reconciled over $800k in monthly invoices, and ensured all monthly reports were accurate and on-time.
Aside from the great work she has done on the T-7A, Emily has also used her skills to help improve processes within the Business Unit. Utilizing her expertise in PowerBI, she used advanced filtering to make the Resource Dashboard clearer and easier to navigate, which contributed to more efficient and effective Resource Meetings. Furthermore, she created a new PowerBI dashboard that tracks all QA, peer, and lead reviews, resulting in an effective tool for both planning and deconfliction.
In summation, Emily is a priceless asset who goes above and beyond for the team. Her quality of work is top-notch, and her willingness to help others is admirable. Her performance is most deserving of an Energy Award.
