Logistician Senior Level
Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems. Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility.
Logistician Junior Level
Support physical and logical inventory and warehouse operations; to include inventory control and counting operations. Continuous improvement mindset with willingness to contribute to process improvements. Periodically inspects activities for compliance with policies, procedures, and directives for accuracy. Analyzes reports and records activities, reports inefficiencies to supervisors and recommends corrective actions to improve operations. Inspects conditions of property. Identifies property, using technical data and blueprints, and identifies components to subassemblies. Performs shelf life inspections of stock. Computes and accumulates data for use in analysis. Advises on requirements for storage, including those for classified, sensitive, radioactive, hazardous, mobility readiness spares packages and flammable property.
