Position Overview

JANUS is currently seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Requirements Analyst to jointly support the Architecture Integration and Management Division (AIMD) and Capability Development and Integration Division (CDID), reporting to the Department of the Army, U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC) and Futures and Concepts Center (FCC).

The Requirements Analyst will support the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Capability Development and Integration Division (CDID). Administer architecture Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and architecture support at the following Capability Development Integration Divisions (CDIDs): CAC, Fort Leavenworth, KS; Cyber CoE, Fort Gordon, GA; Intel CoE, Fort Huachuca, AZ; Maneuver CoE, Fort Benning, GA; Maneuver Support CoE, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Aviation CoE, Fort Rucker, AL; Fires CoE, Fort Sill, OK; and Sustainment CoE, Fort Lee, VA. Perform assigned duties at additional locations based on the current needs and requirements. Provide dedicated architecture support to listed CDIDs to develop fit-for purpose and JCIDS architecture products IAW priorities jointly established between AIMD and CDID.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure architecture products meet JCIDS/capability requirements before submission to ArCADIE. 
  • Develop mandatory DODAF JCIDS views IAW Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Instruction (CJCSI). 
  • Organizational Architectures to support Force Design Updates (FDUs), and Capabilities Needs Assessments/Formation Based Assessments (CNAs/FBAs). 
  • Training to facilitate, and inform CDID personnel on the use of ArCADIE, methodologies, data standards, and Verification & Validation (V&V) of operational architecture content IAW AFC V&V guide. 
  • Develop architectures to support Army and Joint Modeling and Simulations (M&S) IAW the Army Integrated Architecture Data Standards (IADS). 
  • Store all products in ArCADIE and IAW Army architecture data standards

Special Requirements:

  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
  • Three plus years’ demonstrated experience in developing DODAF JCIDS views IAW Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Instruction (CJCSI). 
  • Two plus years’ experience with the Organizational Architectures to support Force Design Updates (FDUs), and Capabilities Needs Assessments/Formation Based Assessments (CNAs/FBAs). 
  • Two years’ experience working with Training to facilitate, and inform CDID personnel on the use of ArCADIE, methodologies, data standards, and Verification & Validation (V&V) of operational architecture content IAW AFC V&V guide. 
  • Two years’ experience providing operational architecture to the CDID of a Center of Excellence. 
  • Two years’ experience developing and maintaining architectures to support Army and Joint Modeling and Simulations (M&S) IAW the Army Integrated Architecture Data Standards (IADS). 
  • Two years’ experience storing all products in ArCADIE and IAW Army architecture data standards. 
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology. 
  • Possess and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance at contract start and maintain that level of security for the life of the contact.
