Concept Analyst - International
Fort Eustis, VA
To provide FCC Army and Joint Concept Division Support Services. This position requires applicant to conduct research, analysis, and synthesis of Allied and Partner military concepts to identify opportunities to influence international and U.S. Army concept development. Conduct literature review of published Army, Joint, and other service concepts from Allied and Partner future concepts development organizations to generate understanding. Emphasis on non-Five Eyes Alliance (FVEY) European and Asian Allies and Partners as FVEY concepts, contacts, and access are relatively well established. Will be required to document the results of this research in up to 4 point papers or white papers per year, which shall comply with AR 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence. Understand U.S. Army concepts. You will establish and maintain contact with relevant Army concepts development people and processes in Army Concepts Division and Capability Development Integration Directorate CDIDs and analyze international and Army concept development to produce synthesis information identifying high-payoff opportunities for Director of Concepts to influence Allied and Partner concept development. You will produce synthesis information identifying high- payoff opportunities for Allied and Partner concepts to influence Army and Joint concept development. CONOPS development for Joint and other service wargame and experiment requirements integration as a team member with Joint Concepts Operations Planner, Other Service Wargames Operations Planner, Navy-Army Future Operations Integration Analyst, and SMEs, produce integrated CONOPS products when directed by Joint Concepts Division Chief.
- Planner, policy, relevant foreign area officer, or liaison officer experience in NATO/USEUCOM/USAREUR, USINDOPACOM/USARPAC, or relevant foreign army HQ staff above brigade level. Civilian government or academic experience in analyzing European and/or Asia/Pacific military affairs also acceptable in lieu of experience in multinational/international military HQs.
- Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army Multi-Domain Operations Concept and latest Joint Warfighting Concepts.
