Position:  Army Future Command, Future and Concept Center, Mission Command/Intelligence CBA Analyst

Location:  Fort Eustis, VA

Position Description:  Supporting Army Future Command, Future and Concept Center, Futures Integration Division, the analyst will provide Mission Command and Intelligence analysis across the seven warfighting functions.  Provides analysis and recommendations of developed/developing JCIDS products to the Division Chief and associated team. Involvement in experimentation and capability/threat based analyzes. Assist in the development of the Top Down Modernization Process (TDMP) and its supporting data environment.  Specific knowledge, skills, and experience include:

1. Knowledge of CJCSI 3170 series documents (JCIDS process)
2. Knowledge of current US Army acquisition decision processes to include tools and modeling
3. Knowledge and experience in Mission Command/Intelligence functions
4. Knowledge and experience in application of M&S techniques in support of JCIDS analysis
5. Skillful and experienced practitioner of Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA) and associated JCIDS products including (CDD, ACDD, DCRs)
6. Skillful management of multiple, concurrent efforts
7. Experienced facilitator, briefer, and presenter of analytical results (written or orally) to senior leadership (Army, other Service, and Joint)
8. Operations and or Planning experience at battalion level or higher

Active SECRET Clearance required

Bachelor's degree

3+ years of experience with CJCSI 3170 series (JCIDS) processes, methodologies, and products

3+ years of experience conducting Capability Based Assessments

3+ years of experience with requirements or needs analysis

3+ years of experience with specific background in Mission Command or Intelligence WFF or

5+ years of Division staff or higher planning staff experience as a combat officer

5+ years of documenting analytical efforts, constructing briefings, and presenting results

Working knowledge of TR 71-20

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams

Knowledgeable in Database functions and statistical programs including Minitab, Excel

Special Requirement

Desired

Master’s degree

3+ years of experience with:  AFC, Future and Concept Center

Certification in Data Analysis and Visualization: Power BI or R Shiny

Defense Acquisition University Certificates:

1. CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
2. CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives
3. CLR 250: Capability Based Assessment
4. CLR 252: Key Performance Parameters

RQM 110: Core Concepts Requirements Management.

Capability Development Training: Army Capability Developer’s Course or Service Equivalent
