Position Overview

Specific responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Extensive travel will be required; up to 5 months of travel per year (typically less than 2 months at a time). Support LVC-G Integrated Training Events. Ensure that inspections, services, tests, preventive maintenance and repairs of electronic systems and equipment, are completed IAW applicable technical publications. Ensure inspections, services, tests, preventive maintenance and repairs of all associated equipment, are completed  IAW applicable technical publications.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Must be 8570.01-M compliant IAM Level III certified.

Security Clearance: Secret

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 6 years' experience with integrated simulations training devices and C4ISR digital systems in a multi-echelon collective training environment. Six years military experience within the communications career field.
  • (US Army MOS 25C or USMC MOS 0621 or 2841) preferred.
  • 6 years' experience with Army instrumentation and communications systems that support LVC-G Integrated Training Events
  • Possesses a complete understanding of Army Combat Training Center Program methodology and current Army maneuver doctrine.
  • Experience with models and simulations using LVC simulations data.
  • Experience creating Instrumentation System (IS) milestones
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices.
  • Prior military service is desired.
  • Demonstrates proficient oral and written communication, with strong attention to detail and an ability to interact effectively with people of varying technical abilities (engineers, technicians, and military personnel).
  • Energetic self-starter with strong work ethic and strong leadership skills.
  • Computer and networking diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Linux command line and programming experience is a plus.
  • Documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Able to function at a high-level in high-pressure environments.
  • Able to lift up to 50 Ibs.
