Dr. Douglas Maxwell

Dr. Douglas Maxwell brings over 25 years of engineering management and technology leadership experience in modeling, simulation and digital engineering. Dr. Maxwell has a deep understanding of training simulation systems, prototype development for military applications, and government project management. He maintains a focus on technology transfer and real-world application of research to complex training management problems.

As a widely published technical author and co-creator of multiple patents, Dr. Maxwell is a well-regarded thought leader and advocate in the military, science, and technology communities. He is a practitioner of modern digital engineering techniques, including most recently the application of operational artificial intelligence and machine learning to rapidly drive innovation.

In addition to being a practicing engineer, Doug has kept his knowledge current by earning four engineering degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master's in engineering with Specialty in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Central Florida, where he also serves as a Graduate Faculty Scholar. He also holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
