JANUS Research Group Recognizes Eric Egy with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Eric Egy with an Energy Award for his outstanding service to the Mission Command CEMA & Intelligence Division (MC2ID), FID, and Futures and Concepts Center (FCC).

Mr. Egy's proactive support was instrumental in staffing and approval of the Micro High Altitude Balloon (mHAB) Directed Requirement, and in preparing leadership for critical discussions regarding aerial sensor coverage. His contributions extended to future-focused initiatives, including the design of military intelligence for 2040 and the Force Integration Review Board, where he expertly reviewed and represented projected aerial signals intelligence capabilities.

Mr. Egy voluntarily pursued specialized training, enhancing his expertise in capability development processes, highlighting his commitment to professional development, and meeting the client at their point of need. He was pivotal in the review and submission of numerous key documents?five Capability Development Documents (CDDs), three Abbreviated CDDs, and 17 Decision Support Packages?ensuring their accuracy and quality.

Mr. Egy frequently represented MC2ID at senior-level forums, including MDO forums and the Army Requirements Oversight Council, consistently delivering timely and detailed information to leadership. His leadership and collaborative spirit were evident in his successful management of the FCC Eustis MSS DOTMLPF-P team in the absence of the team leader.

Mr. Egy's contributions have been instrumental in advancing ISR capability development and strengthening the Army's intelligence enterprise.
