JANUS Research Group Recognizes Nathan Arce with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Nathan Arce with an Energy Award for the invaluable support he has given to Center for Seebees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) as an on-site financial analyst over the last year and a half.

As a financial analyst working on the CSFE contract, Nathan manages funding for all procurement and purchase requests for course supplies and requirements, as well as facility and building upgrades. He also provides rapid response to all ad hoc requests from the Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School (CECOS) XO and N8 Comptroller.

Of particular note is Nathan's work over the last year on the creation of the FY25—FY27 Spend Plan for departmental and budgetary line items. His flexibility and client-focused energy resulted in the production of multiple Excel tools that better supported CSFE directors, and made the financial aspect of their positions much more understandable and actionable.

While financial analysts most often work behind the scenes, their work is highly valued and of critical importance to delivering the highest quality products to our customers. Nathan consistently earns strong praise for his work from the CECOS directors, XO, and N8 Comptroller. As a result of his invaluable work, Nathan was personally requested to work directly for the CECOS Commanding Officer.
