JANUS Research Group Recognizes Christopher James with Energy Award
02/28/2025
JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Christopher James with an Energy Award for his exceptional network engineering support for the Technical Management Division and PdM Unified Network Capabilities and Integration (UNCI).
From 2024 through February 2025, despite being new to the team, Christopher seamlessly provided unwavering support while being cross–trained on the Sustainment Transport System (STS). His remarkable ability to quickly grasp the concept of STS made immediate and significant impacts on the STS TMD, particularly during their three+ months of training validation and verification events. Christopher provided essential subject matter expertise during these efforts, proving himself an invaluable asset. In addition, Christopher provided engineering support for the Initial Operation Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) efforts leading to a record test.
Christopher's dedication and proactive approach, even as new to the team as he was, afforded TMD the necessary resources to maintain the schedule for properly configuring, verifying, and testing six satellite communication terminals, nine line of sight terminals, and 12 wireless fidelity kits ahead of the IOT&E. His support ensured a timely commencement with minimal risk of equipment failure on day one.
Christopher has proven himself not only a professional, but also an effective leader. His professionalism and dedication are in keeping with the finest traditions of service and reflect great credit upon himself and his team, showcasing the innovative solutions JANUS provides to the Project Manager Tactical Network; PEO Command, Control, Communications, and Network (PEO C3N); and the United States Army.
Christopher is truly the embodiment of the JANUS ethos and we are pleased to recognize his accomplishments with this Energy Award.
