JANUS RESEARCH GROUP RECOGNIZES CHARLES MCKAY, CORBY DUNCAN AND COREY HARRIS WITH ENERGY AWARDS
05/29/2024
JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to present Mr. Charles McKay, Mr. Corby Duncan, and Mr. Corey Harris with Energy Awards for each of their support on Project Convergence - Capstone 4 (PCC4) and to the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC).
Mr. McKay played a critical role in the planning and execution of two exercises: Joint Warfighter Assessment (JWA) 23 and PCC4. For PCC4, he attended multiple planning conferences and coordinated continuously with various Army organizations and Joint partners in accomplishing country specific experimentation requirements. Mr. McKay developed the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Warfighter Simulation dB that supported several Phase 2 objectives, Risk Reduction, and network testing events. His operational expertise was also a key factor in the Pre-Deployment Synch for day-to-day operations in achieving assessment objectives.
During the execution of PCC4, Mr. McKay's expertise and flexibility was essential in meeting experimentation objectives. The critical support, expertise and flexibility offered by Charles and his team of professional contractors, especially during the execution of PCC4 was essential in meeting experimentation objectives.
Mr. Duncan's performance in support of the JMC Operation Group Bravo over the past year's planning and execution of PCC4 has been exemplary. His analysis and product development, interactions with multiple technology sponsors and stakeholders, and input to process improvements have been instrumental to the success of PCC4 and setting the stage for a continuously improved PC5 planning cycle.
Corby assisted in reviewing, tracking, and synchronizing the integration of over 250 technologies into PCC4. During execution, his review of observations in the database and maintenance of a tracker of observations by technologies was highly praised by several members of the Data Collection & Analysis community. Additionally, we are already seeing his positive impact on PC5 through process and product improvement recommendation made to DEVCOM for the technology selection products and layout of the digital technology common operating picture (Tech COP).
Mr. Harris served as the JMC, Network Integration Division G6 Server Technician for JMC's Network Design Reviews, Operational Risk Reduction Events Optimized (ORREOs), Communication Exercise (COMMEX), Validation Exercise (VALEX) and Army Futures Command (AFC) experimental operation, PCC4.
His expertise contributed to the build of two Multi-National Partner Environment Common Services Hubs (MPE-CS Hub). This enabled multi-national interoperability with the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canadian, Australian and U.S. Forces. He continuously provided guidance to follow technicians and leadership on how to best utilize this infrastructure to meet experimental needs. Mr. Harris demonstrated exceptional dedication to the mission by operating and managing the Phase I Cybersecurity Hub (CSHUB) and Exercise Control (EXCON) Servers during execution.
Each individual's professionalism, expertise and diligence reflect highly upon themselves and the JANUS team.
