JANUS RESEARCH GROUP HAS BEEN AWARDED THE READY RELEVENT LEARNING LINE OF EFFORT - 1: CAREER LONG LEARNING CONTINUUM TASK ORDER FOR THE UNITED STATES FLEET FORCES COMMAND
08/10/2023
JANUS Research Group LLC (JANUS) has been awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm-Fixed Price Task Order (CPFF FFP TO) to provide services in support of the Naval Education Training Command's (NETC) and Naval Education and Training for Professional Development Technology Center's (NETPDTC) Naval Training Products and Services from September 1st 2023 to August 31st, 2024.
The Learning Line of Effort (LOE-1) end-state is to develop detailed learning roadmaps for every Navy career that tightly links Fleet needs to individual training requirements in technical, professional and leadership as part of a total learning architecture which focuses on the management of Sailor's learning needs throughout a career.
The distribution of Learning for technical training requires a comprehensive synchronization with Recruiting, Rating Selection, Fleet Assignment, Structured On-the-Job Training, Professional Development, Leadership Training, Cultural Training and General Military requirements. Therefore, the design of continuums and associated paths must be backed by science and properly vetted to achieve the Enhanced, Accessible Learning spiral of Ready Relevant Learning (RRL).
This effort will identify and coordinate requirements for programs, initiatives, capabilities, roadmaps and policies to tailorable career paths for applicable Navy ratings and document the framework for continued development Navy-wide. This work also requires alignment with Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) Transformation 55 to X efforts. The next crucial step is to identify essential functions and capabilities that will achieve the 'Enhanced' and 'Accessible' defined characteristics with a focus on developing Master level technicians. Training management functions in the continuum ensure individualized, relevant training that is responsive to Fleet needs. Each function and capability requires parallel development to achieve the optimal Sailor outcome under the RRL construct.
