06/26/2023
JANUS Research Group is pleased to present Mr. Frank Daig and Mr. Terry Parker with Energy Awards for their hard work under and recognition from the Army National Guard (ARNG) G44 Maintenance Branch.
Mr. Daig works as an Army Maintenance Analyst supporting the ARNG at Enterprise Systems Division, Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) out of Ft. Gregg-Adams. Recently, Frank has directly aided in the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) Release 3 (R3) Interface with Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army and in the correction of defects in that process. He coordinated with the GCSS-Army Finance and National Guard Bureau (NGB) on a solution regarding moving funds from General Fund Enterprise Business System-Sensitive Activities (GFEBS-SA) to GCSS-Army. He was instrumental in the revision of the Man-Hour Utilization Report where he worked with CASCOM and the Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse (BI/BW) Team to resolves issues.
Frank continues to explore and is preparing to execute the new Fiscal Year (FY)-2023 GCSS-Army Sustainment Organizational Framework called Scaled Agile Framework. Additionally, Frank is reviewing, researching, and testing over 20 changes proposed for the March 2023 System Release. Because of his efforts, he is often called on by CASCOM to assist with help desk tickets and special issues regarding ARNG tickets.
Mr. Parker works as a Logistics Analyst supporting the Headquarters' (HQ's) ARNG G4 Maintenance Branch and the states and territories. During the last 90 days, he has successfully conducted over 20 "Lunch and Learns" that directly affected the readiness of multiple units of the ARNG. His efforts have caught the attention of many of the senior staff at the National Guard Bureau (NGB) G4 Division, resulting in the request for more workshops on additional subjects. Terry is now often called on to assist with special classes and training sessions that affect certain missions such as Modification Management Information System (MMIS) and Modification Working Orders (MWOs), recently conducting some specialized web-based training of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) applications and use by the Surface Maintenance Community.
Terry and Frank lead the pack with their work ethic, energy, and dedication to both the company and the customer. Their knowledge of the workings of the ARNG community has and continues to improve many operations across the country.
