JANUS RESEARCH GROUP AWARDED ARCHITECTURE INTEGRATION AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION (AIMD) SUPPORT SERVICE TASK ORDER

May 3rd, 2022 (Evans, GA) - JANUS Research Group LLC (JANUS) has been awarded a two-year, $25 million Task Order to provide operational architecture, software development, and cloud services to the Army Futures Command (AFC), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Architecture Integration and Management Division (AIMD).
Under this Task Order, JANUS will be providing direct support to AIMD in the accomplishment of its mission and fulfillment of its role as the Army's Architecture Data Steward (ADS), Army Futures Command Operational Architect, and Executive Agent for the Army Capabilities and Architecture Development and Integration Environment (ArCADIE), Capability Development support services, and management of the Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) Modular Data Environment.
About the Architecture Integration and Management Division
AIMD has provided operational architecture support to the Army since 2002 and is a Division under the Futures Integration Directorate (FID), FCC, and AFC. AIMD develops operational architectures in support of Joint and Army warfighting concepts, experimentation, and analysis. AIMD develops and integrates operational architectures (OA) with systems architecture (SA) and technical architectures (TA) and synchronizes them to underpin solutions for current and future land warfare capabilities required by the Army, Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) partners.
As the Army's Architecture Data Steward and Operational Architect, AIMD establishes and enforces architecture policy standards and governance in order to achieve the goal of timely, relevant, and reusable architectures underpinning the full range of capability development processes.
AIMD develops current and future concepts of operation, installs, operates, maintains, and modernizes the ArCADIE system of systems environment as the Army's authoritative architecture repository, development tools, and data services. In addition to architecture, AIMD is leading the way in establishing data steward like activities for the Capabilities Development and Network Analysis Group community of practice.
