DAVID DEMARTELAERE AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD

December 14th, 2021 (Evans, GA) - David DeMartelaere, Strategic Planner for JANUS Research Group, has been awarded JANUS Research Group's Energy Award for his top-notch performance in the planning and execution of Project Convergence (PC21) and the PC21 Joint Combined Arms Rehearsal (JCAR) at Ft. Myer, VA.
During the nine months that David has been working with JANUS Research Group and the JCAR, he has put the time in to ensure the multiple Use Case rehearsals observed by the Army and Joint Senior Leaders and members from the House and Senate Armed Services Committees, demonstrated the end challenges of PC21, an experiment never undertaken across the Joint force before.
"Dave DeMartelaere was instrumental in setting conditions for the Project Convergence Joint Combined Arms Rehearsal [at Ft. Myer, VA]. He planned, coordinated, and executed a digitally integrated rehearsal which was attended and praised by the CSA and SECARMY. He was instrumental to JCAR mission success," said Mr. Rodger Lemons, GS-14 and David's immediate Military Supervisor.
David's support during the execution of PC21 was equally impressive. As the Joint Modernization Command's (JMC) Commanding General's (CG) trusted point of contact (POC) at White Sands Missile Range, David hosted, briefed, and escorted dozens of senior Army and Joint leaders, as well as Multinational Partners who came to observe the execution of Use Cases through the course of the month-long Joint experiment.
David diligently and flawlessly supported the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command, enabling the overwhelming success of the PC21.
