JOHN BLOUNT AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER

November 16th, 2021 (Evans, GA) - In recognition for outstanding service to the Project Manager Tactical Network program, Mr. John Blount has been awarded Employee of the Quarter. From January 2021 through October 2021, Mr. Blount played a critical role in delivering tactical communications capabilities for the PM Tactical Network and Product Manager Mission Network team.
John's efforts have a global reach having spent time working in Italy, Korea, Guam, Germany and at Camp Roberts, CA. At each location John provided critical tactical engineering services to Warfighters and their units. This year alone, John has supported a multitude of programs ranging from On-The-Move Mission Network (OTM) Software Updates; the configuration, validation and testing of expeditionary robust voice and data communication networks; and the fielding of satellite communications with high-capacity line-of-sight capability that will enable mission command, a trusted real-time common operating picture, and global voice, video and data communications from anywhere on the battlefield.
His commitment to the PM Tactical Network Technical Management Division and support efforts are greatly appreciated, and his professionalism and dedication to duty are in keeping with the finest traditions of service and reflect great credit upon himself; Project Manager Tactical Network; the Program Executive Office Command, Control, and Communications-Tactical; and the United States Army.
