SHANNON KILLIAN AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD

July 14, 2021 (Evans, GA) - Janus Research Group (JANUS) has awarded Shannon Killian with JANUS Research's Energy Award for her immediate and steadfast initiative and work ethic during her time supporting the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC).
Shannon began working for JANUS in January 2021 as a Capability Integration Analyst for JMC's Field Experiments Division. Upon her arrival, she was quick to integrate herself into her team and excel within the position, despite having to follow strict protocols in allowing mission essential personnel in the building due to COVID-19. Shannon was able to discuss her deliverables, make contact with the military branch chief she was going to be working for, and transition into her new role with little guidance from her supervisor.
In the words of her immediate GS-14 supervisor: "Not 10 minutes after I was notified that she was accepted to fill the Field Experiments Divisions sole Capability Integration Analyst position, she called to ask what we needed, and how she can help. I can tell you from experience, even in a non-pandemic time, have I had that happen in nearly 40 years of government service."
Shortly following her start date, her supervisor requested she take on a planning role with the Army Future Command's branch chief, specifically running the planning effort for JMC's new priority mission: Project Convergence 21. Her transformation of the processes she was asked to work on within Project Convergence have been described as the "model of perfection" and is routinely praised for its deliberate and effective implementation.
Shannon's performance and ability to exceed customer's expectations is precisely what the JANUS team strives to aim for each and every day. She continues to not only impress internal PC planners, but the Army Modernization Enterprise stakeholders and the CMD team at JMC.
