TERESA CARRIGAN AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD
March 4, 2021 (Evans, GA) - Janus Research Group (JANUS) has awarded Teresa Carrigan with an Energy Award in recognition of her outstanding work in support of the Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) program. This award is distributed to team members who go beyond the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction and demonstrate exceptional work ethic.
Teresa works as a Senior Software Developer on the AIMD Data Management Team and has worked with JANUS for nearly seven years. She has continually been recognized by her peers as a major contributor in the innovation and improvement of the ArCADIE database for six major software version releases. She works with her team and is a key member of Agile development process and has been personally responsible for making many valuable improvements to the ArCADIE database.
Through her expert knowledge and initiative, Teresa successfully trained the software development team on key skills related to DevOPS and Source Control Management. Most recently, Teresa has distinguished herself by using her expertise and newly acquired skills and knowledge regarding the Cloud computing environment to play a key role in the JANUS Development Team's successful transition of the final stages of porting ArCADIE from IaaS to PaaS. For nearly six months, the Applied Information Sciences (AIS) Team partnered with the JANUS DM Team to make necessary changes to the ArCADIE database. She coordinated her activities with the Data Management Lead, Database Administrators, and the Network Administrators to meet all the system, information assurance, and cyber security requirements. She has successfully achieved all of these activities as the result of the rapport and the strong relationships established with our Azure Cloud sub-contractor AIS.
