JANUS Research Group Awarded U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence Automation Management Support Services Contract

December 1, 2020 (FORT SILL,OK) - JANUS Research Group (JANUS) has been awarded a five-year Task Order to provide the U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) with Automation Management Services (AMS) at Fort Sill, OK.
This win increases JANUS' presence at Fort Sill with a team of IT systems analysts, audio/visual systems engineers, learning management system specialists, and video conferencing specialists supporting the FCoE and Ft. Sill Chief Information Officer, Chief Knowledge Management and G6 offices (CIO/CKO/G6). The JANUS team will be providing Automation Management Support Services (AMSS) that will help sustain current and emerging IT efforts to support FCoE and Fort Sill in their ongoing mission to provide the Army with combat developments, training developments, and institutional training; participating in the force structure process; determining requirements and influencing systems development, acquisition, and fielding processes for the Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Schools.
Fort Sill is home of the United States Army Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Schools, as well as the Marine Corps' site for Field Artillery MOS school, United States Army Air Defense Artillery School, the 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade, and the 75th Field Artillery Brigade. Fort sill is also one of the four locations for Army Basic Combat Training. Designated as a National Historic Landmark, it has played a significant role in every major American conflict since 1869.
