Mr. Richard Colburn exemplifies the spirit of the JANUS Energy Award through his unwavering commitment, positivity, and exceptional support to the Sustainment, Installation, and Environmental Battalion (SIEB) at the Professional Education Center. His decades of experience in the Army National Guard—combined with his deep institutional knowledge—make him an invaluable resource to both JANUS and the government team.
Mr. Colburn selflessly shares his expertise, mentoring fellow team members and enabling them to grow in their roles and contribute more effectively to the courses they support. His willingness to coach others, provide historical context, and guide new developers strengthens the overall capability and cohesion of the SIEB instructional development team.

Mr. Colburn plays a critical role in updating, refining, and validating courseware across numerous Quartermaster programs.
