JANUS Team Member Randall Lloyd Celebrates 15 Years

IT Systems Administrator Randall (Randy) Lloyd is celebrating his 15th anniversary with JANUS Research Group (JANUS).
Randy started as first level desktop IT support with AER, primarily working with Windows. His role has evolved over the last 15 years, with Randy now serving as the primary point of contact for all Windows and macOS first level IT support. Recently, Randy has been working on the migration of AER laptops to JANUS, after JANUS acquired AER several months ago. He serves as the primary JANUS IT point person for the implementation of both INTUNE (a Microsoft application that will be used to manage Windows devices within JANUS) and Addigy (an application that will be used to manage macOS devices within JANUS). AER was selected as the "guinea pig" for this migration and Randy has worked diligently to ensure a smooth transition of all AER devices to INTUNE and Addigy. Randy comes from a Windows background but gracefully rose to the challenge of learning and growing proficient with macOS. His ability to quickly learn and adopt new skills made him the perfect choice for this challenge. The lessons he has learned and his expertise will be paramount in ensuring a successful adoption of these management applications company-wide.
His current team leader, Robert Worsham, praised Randy's skills, his knowledge base, and his relatability, and points to Randy's love of learning new things as motivators for Randy's continued success at JANUS. "I can attest to Randy contributing to many improvements over his tenure at AER, in both what we do and how we do it," he states.
The entire AER IT team has been instrumental in mentoring Randy. As his primary duties over the years have been first level IT support, Randy has worked with and integrated in every level of the team. His position on the team inspires him to continue to grow his IT knowledge and capabilities to ensure he is always ready and able to assist anyone with IT needs.
When Randy isn't immersed in the world of IT support, he enjoys spending time with his two cats, Beebee and Bing. We're not sure about Beebee and Bing, but at JANUS we're proud to celebrate Randy's 15th work anniversary and we look forward to his many contributions and accomplishments to come in the years ahead.
