JANUS Research Group Recognizes Steven Kreeger with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Steven Kreeger with an Energy Award for his exceptional performance and steadfast support of the Future Study Program 2025 (FSP25) and the successful execution of the Chief of Staff of the Army's Wargame.

Steven's deep understanding of the Operational Wargame System (OWS) ruleset was invaluable to the successful outcome of the event. His contributions were critical in the event setup, rapid and accurate adjudication of in-game events, and precision operation of the OWS software visualization tool. He maintained continuous awareness of the event design and scenario throughout.

When Threat Emulation Force (TEFOR) Role Players were unable to access the VASSAL game visualization tool – essential for the double-blind game – Steven stepped in, ensuring efficient coordination of the placement, movement, and actions of the TEFOR units, making complete synchronization between VASSAL and physical tactical maps for both sides seamless.

In addition, Steven's knowledge of information technologies and network design, along with his active participation in event execution and post-event cleanup, reflect the professionalism and adaptability indicative of JANUS success.
