JANUS Research Group Recognizes Chase Calkins with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Chase Calkins with an Energy Award for his outstanding work ethic and energy, which he brings to all his projects.

Chase consistently conducts essential behind-the-scenes work, often completed well ahead of deadline, enabling the AER business unit to meet tight deadlines with high quality products. In the recently completed quarter, the team received a record number of work orders from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), a key client for the past 10 years. Chase, despite having numerous pressing projects for other clients, stepped up to the challenge. He set up, performed troubleshooting, and conducted pilot testing of multiple configurations of the WRF meteorological model on the cloud computing system.

Chase's dedication and energy, along with his impressive time management skills, is directly responsible for the AER team's ability to deliver the product to the client two weeks ahead of schedule, despite a series of significant technical roadblocks. Chase's ability to work autonomously, quickly, efficiently, and with great skill led to TCEQ being highly impressed and satisfied with not only the speed and quality of the work, but Chase's initiative. Chase exemplifies the JANUS ethos, successfully performing challenging work while providing high levels of support to his team as well as high quality products to our clients.
