JANUS Research Group Recognizes Stephen Winter with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Stephen (Steve) Winter with an Energy Award for his outstanding contributions to the BAH/government team during its Verification & Validation (V&V) event for the Network Baseline (NWB) 4.0 architecture process.

V&V is critical for validating and ensuring the reliability of complex system of systems network architectures in a live open field environment to address network capability gaps identified during various Army unit Combat Training Center exercises. Steve played a vital role in the planning and coordination leading up to and during the execution of this event. His ability to work under pressure and effective management skills led to the successful on-time transportation of equipment, vehicles, and personnel for the duration of the V&V. Steve was also crucial in ensuring that daily vehicle mechanical issues were fixed on time to execute mission threads.

Additionally, Steve demonstrated initiative and adaptability during the Distinguished Visitor (DV) Day of the V&V event. Prior to execution, Steve led planning and coordination sessions between multiple offices for DV Day to ensure event success. He was recognized by senior leaders for his contributions. Without Steve's leadership and initiative, the V&V event would not have attained the success it did.
