JANUS Research Group Recognizes Joanna Wooten with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize MPT team member Joanna Wooten with an Energy Award for her outstanding work providing training support and development to the United States Coast Guard (USCG), truly showcasing her incredible skill set.

Joanna's current site reports, "Much of Joanna's work on this project has been done in the background, providing support to others to move modules of instruction from one phase to the next, and then on to multiple levels of review by SMEs, internal QA, FC-Teps, and FC-B in preparation for upload to LMS, CH-OWL." Joanna was assigned to one of the largest modules for development, Storm Water Management, where her designs perfectly and seamlessly flowed into development and further refinement.

Joanna's work has potentially saved the USCG from millions of dollars in fines, provided new content to the USCG, created streamlined menus and suggested improved learner interactions to develop relevant curriculum and content. Further, Joanna performed the first review of the new courseware, following up with stakeholders to ensure that all changes were incorporated, resulting in successful completion of important content to train USCG personnel.
