JANUS Research Group Recognizes Robert Kummerer with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize AER team member Robert Kummerer with an Energy Award for his exceptional customer and team support under the Ground Systems and Mission Operations-3 (GSMO-3) contract through the GOES-19 satellite transition to Operations, GOES-19 satellite, integrating the NCCF (NESDIS Common Cloud Framework) and the Enterprise Total Ozone algorithm, which performs the total ozone computation and dataset generation for a number of Earth-observing platforms. These platforms include SNPP, JPSS, NOAA-21, Metop-B, and Metop-C. Robert has also provided outstanding support in the transition of the newly dissolved Product Readiness & Operations (PRO) team to the GeoXO Science team. His efforts have ensured smooth, efficient transitions and integration processes, enabling seamless operations for team members.
