JANUS Team Member Jason Krueger Celebrates 15 Years

03/22/2025

Principle Artist Jason Krueger is celebrating 15 years with JANUS Research Group (JANUS) this month. Jason has been part of an ever-changing and ever-evolving landscape during his career at JANUS. Jason originally started as a lead artist, responsible for leading a team of graphic artists as a part of JANUS' Cinematic pipeline capabilities. Jason was instrumental leading teams of artists through the cinematic production process of organizing, planning, estimating, storyboarding, production, and customer interactions. His natural leadership abilities and talent propelled him to his current position. He has managed the advances in technology successfully, going from a "cinematic" lead to supporting 3D asset development for Interactive Multi-Media Instructional (IMIs) applications, to being the innovation lead catalyst for the AIMD 3D Sandtable and Sandbox for Army Futures Command's (AFC) Futures and Concepts Center, which won the "Innovation of the Year" award. He has managed each change in a way that highlights the high-end solutions JANUS provides for our clients, making him an invaluable asset.

Jason has worked on so many programs over the years that they are too numerous to list. He's been the lead on more than three dozen cinematics. They have been used by multiple Army senior leaders to present concepts and visions at conferences, and have been used to brief congressional subcommittees. He led a cinematic for the Georgia Cancer Center that describes how immunotherapy works. Currently, he is leading an effort to describe a future warfighting capability that is being reviewed by 3- and 4-star generals and the Secretary of the Army.

Jason is a born leader who knows how to lead and how to have fun. When time is of the essence, he shines, performing at a level that is impressive and rare. He has an uncanny knack for hearing what a person desires to see and making it come to life, working iteratively through a refined process that repeatedly produces results. He consistently motivates his team to perform at their best, enhancing both individual and collective output. His strong communication skills also ensure effective interactions with clients, contributing to successful project outcomes. Jason is a pleasure to work with and for; his willingness to assist in any capacity and his positive, easy-going attitude are contagious.

As a leader, Jason embodies supportiveness and transparency. His leadership style is ideal for creative roles, fostering an environment where teams can thrive. Under his guidance, projects dealing with cinematics, simulations, and documentation have flourished, benefiting from his detail-oriented approach and constant drive to enhance team skills in a respectful and professional manner. Jason loves what he does. He loves producing solutions that support the warfighter, and he loves the innovation and creative drive that fuels solutions that push the boundaries of our current capabilities in cinematic production and other art-centric projects. We firmly believe that Jason's future projects could bolster our company as a leader in creative solutions. His work is already producing innovative solutions for AIMD.

Maybe Jason is inspired by his home state of Arizona and the traveling and hiking he does throughout the southwest region of our country, or maybe by the amazing places he's visited in Europe. Whatever his inspiration, he brings it to his work, his team, and JANUS overall. We are proud and honored that Jason has chosen to spend 15 years with us and we cannot wait to see what creative, innovative solutions Jason will be a part of in the next 15 years.
