JANUS Research Group Recognizes Craig Mitchell with Energy Award

02/12/2025

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Craig Mitchell with an Energy Award for his work with our client at the Medical Capability Development Integration Division (CDID).

During a recent meeting with CDID, Craig provided Forge technical support and assistance to the Medical CDIC Army capability manager (ACM) chief to align medical gaps with CDID's recommended solution approaches (RSA) in the database. Craig provided one-on-one instructions to a senior officer at the O-6 level on how to access Forge?s Master Gap List and explained the implications of gaps not appearing on this list. In addition, he provided the reasons RSAs may not be associated with approved gaps.

Craig went above and beyond his duty as an analyst and input the RSAs for the ACM chief, highlighting the need for the Medical CDID to verify the accuracy and validity of the RSA data sheets. Additionally, he demonstrated how to validate RSAs for each gap statement. His efforts benefited Medical CDID by enabling accomplishment of the task ahead of schedule and by validating gaps in relation to updated Concept Required Capabilities (CRCs), assessments, risks, and relevant information in the Gap Narrative, setting conditions to migrate 31 medical gaps and RSAs from 2030 to 2040 prior to the February 12 suspense in support of TBA 39-42.

Craig's initiative and work beyond his scope is a shining example of why JANUS is superb at providing exceptional solutions for our clients. We are proud to honor his efforts with this Energy Award.
