JANUS Team Member Owen Fowlkes Celebrates 10 Years

Owen Fowlkes is celebrating 10 years with JANUS Research Group (JANUS). Owen began his JANUS career as an operations officer, Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network, responsible for PM-level suspenses assigned by PEO OPS, HQDA, ASA(ALT), and other agencies. In his time with JANUS, Owen has proven to be a valuable team member and is now considered the subject matter expert on all suspenses.

Owen has made such a positive impact at JANUS over the last 10 years, processing and closing more than 800 external suspenses in 2024 alone. When he first started 10 years ago, Owen tracked all expenses using an Excel spreadsheet, a cumbersome and time-consuming venture. Now, Owen uses a newly built SharePoint tool to track/process suspenses. It's a technology advancement that Owen has fully embraced and utilizes to its fullest potential.

Owen's dedication to his clients and teammates has been a hallmark of his 10 years with JANUS and we look forward to his future contributions, especially on the golf course. Owen, an avid golfer, was a member of the winning PM TN Organization Day Golf event last year, showcasing his own athletic prowess and his ability to contribute positively to the JANUS team even in non-traditional roles.
