JANUS RESEARCH GROUP TO SUPPORT REED INTEGRATION ON THE ADVANCED DISTRIBUTED LEARNING CONTRACT WITH UNITED STATES COAST GUARD

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) and Reed Integration, Inc. (Reed) were awarded a $14.3M, 4-year contract to provide Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Support Services for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM) Training Division.
Creating A Learner-Centric Organization
Through the ADL contract, JANUS Research Group and Reed will support United States Coast Guard's (USCG) Training System (TRASYS) transition into a learner-centric organization that provides on-demand access to quality learning and performance support products. ADL is best understood as an approach to developing learning and performance support solutions that is driven by the latest in learning science coupled with appropriate networking, communications, and media technologies (available and emerging). This effort is part of the Modernized Ready Learning initiative being undertaken by FORCECOM. JANUS will support Reed experts that will analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain FORCECOM's ADL product line.
By combining our strengths in technology integration, content development, research, and project management, Reed Integration and JANUS will deliver a comprehensive ADL solution that meets the client's objectives and requirements effectively.
