GABRIELA FLORES AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH GROUP ENERGY AWARD

JANUS Research Group LLC (JANUS) has awarded Gabriela Flores an Energy Award for her work performed supporting the Army's premier force modernization experiments, Project Convergence (PC 21 and PC 22).
Gabby has worked quietly and effectively behind the scenes to set conditions for the Joint Modernization Command (JMC) for the past two years. For example, supporting PC 21, Gabby coordinated an array of sustainment support arrangements at both Yuma Proving Ground, AZ and White Sands Missile Range, NM. She conducted onsite surveys months in advance, meeting with multiple points of contact to determine the logistical support capabilities and limitations at each installation.
During the planning and execution phases, she oversaw many operational components coordinating lodging and meeting space for both government contractors and soldiers, managing rental vehicles and ensuring all personnel had transportation to and from their work sites, arranging field feeding for these soldiers each day, coordinating with test officers on site to arrange fuel deliveries to keep critical power generation equipment operating 24 hours a day, coordinating the proper storage of classified/unclassified equipment and military vehicles, and building welcome packets for participating units. For her PC 22 support, she oversaw many of the same operational components at multiple training areas within California: National Training Center, Camp Pendleton, March Air Force Base and Yuma Proving Ground.
In sum, Gabby's outstanding performance and tireless work ethic, in large measure, set conditions for JMC's success and reflects well on JANUS Research Group and the professionalism of the entire JMC team.
