JANUS RESEARCH GROUP AWARDED FUTURES AND CONCEPTS CENTER FUTURE STUDY PLAN TASK ORDER

August 5th, 2022 (Evans, GA) - JANUS Research Group (JANUS) has been awarded a four-year, $12 million task order to provide the Future Warfare Division (FWD) with Future Study Program (FSP) Events support services that include administrative, production, event execution, analysis, and analytical integration support in executing the FSP. As the future exploration division of the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center, Directorate of Concepts, FWD plays a critical role in the Army's modernization process. FSP events serve as intellectual venues to examine the viability of future Army concepts, future force structures, enduring warfighting issues, and early integration of emerging science and technology solutions to shape how the Army will fight in the future operational environment. JANUS will perform work primarily at Fort Eustis, VA and at FSP event locations as required by FWD.
JANUS brings relevant experience and understanding gained through our ongoing capabilities development and integration related performance across the Army Futures Command's Futures and Concepts Center with our support to the Joint Modernization Command (JMC) Mission Support Services, Futures Integration Directorate (FID) Mission Support Services, Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) Mission Support Services, and FCC Analysis Division (AD).
In addition, we are successfully executing challenging technical and mission support services Task Orders within Army Program Executive Offices and Project Management Offices, the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), the Army National Guard, NATO, and for various DoD Commands and organizations.

ABOUT FUTURES AND CONCEPTS CENTER
The AFC's Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) develops concepts, determines requirements, conducts experimentation, and begins integration of the future force to ensure the Army wins in 2035 and beyond. Integrated in AFC's campaign plan and part of FCC's Directorate of Concept (DoC), FWD has three primary functions: (i) Conducts, Commander, Army Futures Command, and Future Study Program (FSP), in order to isolate and frame issues vital to future force development and design and to develop solution strategies for complex operational problems; (ii) Examine alternative futures, identifies gaps in Army capabilities, and generates ideas (tentative solutions leading to formal Army concepts) to close those gaps, (iii) Provides venues to develop and explore Senior Leader Areas of Interest.
