JANUS RESEARCH GROUP SELECTED BY STRIKEWERX TO PROCEED IN THE ADVANCED TRAINING CONCEPTS CHALLENGE

June 29th, 2022 (Evans, GA) - JANUS Research Group has been selected from the Strikewerx Showcase events for a potential prototype contract for the B-52 communications training platform.
STRIKEWERX is an innovation arm of the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Office of the Chief Scientist. It connects people and resources across government, industry and academia to solve AFGSC's most difficult problems.
STRIKEWERX's latest challenge, the Advanced Training Concepts Challenge, is focused on training for three areas within the AFGSC. This challenge brings together industry, academia and Air Force subject matter experts to better define how advanced training technology can be incorporated into Emergency Ordnance Disposal accident response, B-52 communications systems training, and E-4B maintenance training.
On May 10th and 11th, 2022, STRIKEWERX hosted 24 companies at the Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City, LA to showcase their training technology for AFGSC. Following this event, nine companies were down selected to advance and provide further capabilities to be considered for a potential contract with three different use cases. JANUS Research Group in partnership with Advanced Simulation Technology and XR2Lead, has been selected.
