JANUS RESEARCH GROUP FUTURES AND CONCEPTS CENTER ANALYSIS DIVISION SUPPORT SERVICES TASK ORDER

June 15th, 2022 (Evans, GA) - JANUS Research Group LLC (JANUS) has been awarded a five-year, $6 million Task Order to provide Mission Support Services to the Army Futures Command (AFC), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) and Analysis Division (AD).
JANUS will support the AD in the conduct of Capabilities Based Assessments (CBAs), Business Case Analyses (BCAs) and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) to provide the analytical rigor to identify, describe, and quantify the benefits and costs associated with each proposed warfighting capability. This support will provide decision makers with facts, data, and analysis required to make informed decisions. The primary emphasis of this support effort will be on the quality control review of CBAs, CBA development and assistance, and cost and benefit/effectiveness analysis support for AoAs and BCAs.
Under the FCC, this work will be done within the Capability Development Integration Directorates (CDIDs) at Training and Doctrine Command's (TRADOC'S) Centers of Excellence (CoE) as they collaborate to explore solutions to significant warfighting challenges confronting today's Army and the Future Army such as shortcomings to protect Soldiers.
As the Army responds to increasing pressures to reduce costs, the FCC foresees greater emphasis by Army leadership on making decisions based on detailed analyses of potential cost and operational effectiveness (to include survivability, maintainability, and lethality) trade-offs, returns on investments, across differing proposed courses of action (COA), and application of cost-saving measures during the early phases of the capabilities development process.
About the Futures and Concepts Center
The Futures and Concepts Center was established within the Army to represent "the engine" of futures development to bring key decisions to the Army leadership in a proactive way. Responsibilities include determining and integrating force requirements and synchronizing the development of doctrine, organizations, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel and facility solutions across the Army. The FCC continues to provide timely support to Soldiers, units and leaders in the operational force both today, and in the future.

Analysis Division provides oversight and administrative management of concepts and capabilities assessments, including Cost-Benefit Analyses (C-BA), Business Case Analyses (BCA), and Analyses of Alternatives (AoA).
