KEVIN GITKOS AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD

December 10, 2021 (Hampton Roads, VA) - Kevin Gitkos has been awarded the coveted JANUS Research Group Energy Award for his client delivery and specifically, his outstanding work supporting the entire JANUS Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) Proper Team.
Kevin has stepped up to serve with the Team JANUS "help desk" as FCC transitions from the @mail.mil environment to Army 365, a new U.S. Army initiative to help improve information sharing with added cybersecurity measures. As with any employee "do-it-yourself" effort, the Army 365 transition has not been seamless, leaving improvement for the online training classes provided to users. Noticing the areas for improvement, Kevin went above and beyond to provide one on one support to the Mission Command, Cyber, Intelligence Division (MC2ID) and other FID divisions as needed ensuring FCC successfully completed the transition.
Kevin was also selected as part of the Data Analysis/Visualization Certification Pilot Program for JANUS and quickly started the certification training to provide routine updates helping to ease the transition and continue to provide effective online training and valuable feedback for evaluating the usefulness of the training.
