DAVID RIBAIL AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD

June 30, 2021 (Fort Bliss, TX) - Janus Research Group (JANUS) has awarded David Ribail with JANUS Research's Energy Award for his steadfast assistance leading the Joint Modernization Command (JMC) Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) efforts to plan, design, configure, integrate and accredit the JADC2 network, which enables the execution of the Chief of Staff for the Army's annual capstone force modernization experiment, Joint Warfighting Assessment 21 (JWA 21).
David has worked as a Network Planner with JANUS for over two years out of Fort Bliss, TX. He has over 40 years of experience integrating and testing new technologies and advanced concepts designed to keep our warfighters out of harm's way, and enable and equip them with weapons, systems, and resources that they need to safeguard our country, and the world.
During the execution of JWA 21, David worked on-site at Fort Carson, CO, supporting the implementation of Risk Reduction Event 3 and Validation Exercise (RRE3/VALEX), coordinating with select Concepts and Capabilities (C&C) sponsors and tech reps to ensure their capabilities were successfully integrated into the exercise network. Efforts also included reviews and expansion of the IAT Learning Demands and Question-Set database, as well as participating in daily IAT synchronization meetings.
Currently, David's role consists of coordination efforts with exercise planners for Task Organization updates and changing doctrinal aspects of the JWA 21 Force Structure, informing network engineers about anticipated changes affecting the planned exercise network architecture, providing Network Status updates and reporting on exercise network development status, friction points, and planned efforts moving forward, all while gathering technical details and updates on exercise planning efforts by other JMC divisions and coordinating 207 Digital Liaison Detachment (DLD) network services and warfighting functional services with the JADC2 network team to ensure DLD systems are being established, critical for Multinational Partner support.
David performs his work on this project diligently and flawlessly. His judgment is highly respected, and he is a top-notch professional supporting the JMC team who has earned a reputation for excellence that reflects brightly on our company and the quality of our work force.
