RICARDO VALENZUELA AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH ENERGY AWARD

March 10, 2021 (Evans, GA) - Janus Research Group (JANUS) has awarded Ricardo Valenzuela with an Energy Award in recognition of his invaluable assistance leading U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC) G6/NETOPS efforts in planning, designing, configuring, constructing, operating and maintaining the JMCSN and OTN networks, and their associated architectures. This award is distributed to team members who go beyond the call of duty to ensure customer satisfaction and demonstrate exceptional work ethic.
Ricardo works as a Network Systems Administrator in El Paso, TX and has been with JANUS for two and a half years. The networks he works on serve as the backbone for large-scale Army experiments. Before this, Ricardo participated in multiple work and test groups identifying shortages and needs for hardware and software needed for proper Network evaluation, making recommendations to key stakeholders and audience including Army Futures Command (AFC), DoD, Joint and multinational partners to the Army's modernization efforts now and into the future.
The scope of his work is immense and has high visibility at both the Army and DoD levels. He performs this work diligently, flawlessly and with high respect. His support of the JMC team is exemplary and reflects the quality of the JANUS work force.
