BEN VAUGHT AWARDED JANUS RESEARCH LEADER OF THE YEAR

February 12, 2021 (Evans, GA) - Janus Research Group (JANUS) has awarded Ben Vaught with JANUS Research's Leader of the Year Award for his successful leadership of JANUS' Future and Concepts Center (FCC) Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) team's effort supporting their client's mission.
Hired upon JANUS winning the United States Army Futures Command (AFC), Futures and Concepts Center's (FCC) Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) Task Order (TO) 2019, Mr. Ben Vaught, PMP leads a matrixed team of JANUS and subcontractor companies. Spearheading efforts in software development, Army data management, to operational and engineering architecture production, Ben's leadership allows his teams to deliver demonstrated support to FCC AIMD.
His guidance has ensured his team navigates a continually emerging work environment due to the 2018 stand-up of the Army Futures Command (AFC) and FCC. Establishing new command and control processes Ben led the hiring of a CFT (Cross- Functional Teams) Lead Operational Architect (OA) and in conjunction with the team's Lead OA, successfully integrated new CFT OA team within the enterprise. Over the past year, Ben provided additional support for multiple major proposals. Ben's insight and understanding of the client, and more importantly the skills of his matrixed team of JANUS and subcontractors, allowed for the team to capture additional work.
Ben is continually looking to not only develop additional work and processes, but his team's ability to take on more responsibilities for the client as well. He advocates for additional training on operational architectures and software development processes, and with this guidance, has allowed his team to successfully create and implement new "Best Practices" accepted by his AIMD client and implemented across the enterprise
The AIMD client's trust in Ben's team and their analytical abilities and expertise, placing them on the leading edge of FCC's efforts to continue the development of operational architectures in support of Army Modernization. As a trusted advisor, Ben, his team, and subcontractor staff continue to provide a wide range of skills and enhancements directly impacting Army Senior Leader resourcing decisions for Army organizational and management of future force.
Outside the workplace, Ben is an active and involved member of his community volunteering as a weekly mentor at a local elementary school as part of the "Kids Hope USA" program and at the Chesapeake Correctional Facility within their Jail Ministry program leading Bible Study for inmates.
Overall, Ben Vaught is an outstanding leader within JANUS, among his clients and within his local community. Always on target in client delivery, Ben is the right person for AIMD, a critical member of the JANUS FCC Leadership team and very deserving of being recognized as JANUS' 2020 Leader of the Year.
