JANUS Research Group Recognizes Francisco Sanchez with Energy Award
04/25/2025
JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Francisco (Frank) Sanchez with an Energy Award for his outstanding support to Operations Group-Alpha (OG-A), United States Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC).
From April 2024 to April 2025, Frank played a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Project Convergence?Capstone 5 (PC-C5) Scenario B. He collaborated continuously with OG-A planners, JMC Division and Army Modernization Enterprise (AME) representatives toward the development, revision, and fulfillment of nearly 240 positions identified on the Experimentation Support Manning Document (ESMD).
Frank also reviewed multiple resources (e.g., DOD Foreign Clearance Guide and U.S. Department of State) and derived country-specific entry requirements for four supporting outstations. He developed a welcome packet detailing these stipulations and tracked their completion while also equipping all ESMD personnel with essential information pertaining to event registration, DTS instructions, visitor access request submission, and RSOI.
During the execution of PC-C5 Scenario B, Frank's operational expertise played a key factor in assisting with the setup of the Operations and Assessment sections within the JMSC-IP, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He contributed daily to these teams, ensuring that information needed for Battle Rhythm Events was completed upon given suspense. His initiative and working relationship with all exercise participants were vital in answering several RFIs from the JMC commander, OG-A director, and deputy director. Frank's tireless efforts contributed directly toward the great success of PC-C5 Scenario B, JMC's first Intra-Theater Capstone Event.
We are pleased to honor Franks's accomplishments with this Energy Award.
