JANUS Team Member Kevin Satterfield Celebrates 15 Years
04/09/2025
System Administrator and Data Support Analyst Kevin Satterfield is celebrating 15 years with JANUS this month. Kevin first started as a systems administrator providing IT and logistics support to the Army National Guard (ARNG) Corps/Theater Automated Data Processing Service Center, which later became the ARNG Materiel Management Center.
While his roles have changed as the projects have changed over the years, Kevin has seamlessly transitioned from role to role. Kevin has worked as an IT/analyst supporting ARNG supply logistics and helpdesk operations as well as supporting ARNG as a data support analyst for the ARNG G4 maintenance team. He has contributed to countless projects over the last 15 years, including assisting with various ARNG migrations to modern logistics systems, with the ARNG single stock fund and the SARSS to GCSS-Army conversion among the most notable.
Kevin is instrumental in his department, providing solutions that often sound simple but are, in actuality, game changing. For instance, Kevin color coded the states on HEAT maps for NGB G44M to portray TMDE Availability and Delinquency – a modest-sounding but significant contribution to the project.
Kevin's dedication to his role at JANUS cannot be overstated. When JANUS had offices in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Kevin provided local IT support, managing the local phone network, file and print sharing services, and end-user support. This wasn't part of our contract tasks, but Kevin felt it was an important value-added service that not only showed our clients that we will go above and beyond, but provided critical services. Kevin is adept at seeing what a client needs and ensuring we meet that need. It should come as no surprise then that Kevin was named Employee of the Quarter just six months after joining JANUS. He has also received numerous Energy Awards over the years because of his dedication, commitment, and overall service to our clients and our team.
Kevin's motivation to be so successful stems from a deep desire to support our ARNG soldiers in achieving their missions. His data analysis skills are critical to the NGB Maintenance Branch meeting regular and ad hoc data requirements for senior leaders and the HQ Department of the Army. We are extremely pleased to celebrate Kevin's 15 years with JANUS and look forward to many more years of his quiet dedication and commitment to his team, our clients, and his work.
