JANUS Research Group Recognizes Annie Richardson with Energy Award

JANUS Research Group (JANUS) is pleased to recognize Annie Richardson with an Energy Award for exceptional performance and unwavering dedication to mission success.
Since assuming the role of information assurance officer supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) program in February 2024, Ms. Richardson has been instrumental in guiding the program toward its long-sought Authority to Operate (ATO). With her at the helm, a comprehensive overhaul of the XCTC documentation was undertaken where obsolete materials were identified and eliminated and entirely new program policies, procedures, and processes were developed, tested, and implemented.
Ms. Richardson's expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and her exceptional capacity to provide virtual training ensured that all personnel from Mississippi to Kentucky and every site in between were equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain compliance. Through her meticulous oversight, the XCTC team has achieved 97% completion in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system, with the remaining requirements on track to conclude by the end of 2024. These efforts have positioned the XCTC program to receive its long-awaited ATO by February 2025.
These outstanding contributions and Ms. Richardson's commitment to excellence, technical acumen, and exceptional leadership have been critical to the XCTC program's progress and success.
