JANUS Employees Support Their Communities

When we say our employees are invested in their communities, we mean it. Employees like Eric Walker, who supports our Ready Relevant Learning Direct Support efforts in Groton, Connecticut, are making a difference both for JANUS clients and for those in their communities.

Besides his exemplary work for JANUS, Mr. Walker also volunteers as a firefighter for his local fire department. Earlier this fall, he took some personal time off to support a last-minute call for manpower to help fight a large wildfire in Berlin, Connecticut. His selfless desire to use his skills and abilities to help his greater Connecticut community speaks of his commitment to JANUS' ethos, which includes always doing the right thing, treating others with respect and dignity, and honoring our commitments.

We applaud Mr. Walker's commitment to his home and his willingness to use his skills, time, and talents to assist when his community needed him most. It is team members like Mr. Walker who make it possible for JANUS to "develop tomorrow's answers today" because they always rise to the occasion and provide the backbone of integrity and ethos that inform our ability to bring lasting solutions to even the most challenging issues.
