JANUS Team Member Tabatha Lee Celebrates 15 Years
Tabatha (Tabby) Lee, a senior financial analyst for JANUS Research Group (JANUS), is celebrating her 15-year work anniversary. Tabby initially joined JANUS to provide logistics finance support to our clients. Over the last 15 years, Tabby has gained a depth and breadth of knowledge that is recognized by senior leadership in the Army National Guard (ARNG), who regularly call upon her to resolve funding issues.
Working virtually with soldiers as Tabby does can be challenging, but she rises to that challenge and consistently makes the process look easy. During her tenure at JANUS Tabby has provided critical support to ARNG states with logistics finance issues. She is regularly called upon to assist ARNG states at the end of the fiscal year with recovering precious funding that would otherwise be sent back to the Department of Defense, allowing them to more effectively carry out their missions.
In the past four years, Tabby has received three Energy awards, JANUS' internal award recognizing outstanding individual achievements. In addition to her outstanding work with the ARNG, Tabby has significantly impacted JANUS' success by providing excellent customer service to our clients. Her ability to consistently provide such excellent service is a direct result of what motivates Tabby to continue working as a senior financial analyst - the satisfaction that comes from knowing she's provided critical assistance to a client, alleviating potential stress and ensuring positive outcomes.
Jon Steenstry has been her biggest inspiration and mentor at JANUS. From explaining the what, why, and how of all the benefits offered to employees of JANUS, to training and teaching customer service skills, to his genuine concern for employees' mental and physical health, Jon is a significant reason Tabby has excelled in her 15 years with JANUS. Tabby hopes to someday work at the ARNG Professional Education Center as an instructor for finance training classes, taking the valuable skills and knowledge she has developed at JANUS into a classroom setting where she can continue to make a difference.
Her teammates at JANUS describe her as a delightful person to be around, always positive and truly caring for her teammates. That care extends inward as well as outward. When she isn't working, you can most often find Tabby baking or focusing on her well-being. In keeping with her passion for fitness and overall health, Tabby started a health improvement routine about a year ago and has lost more than 100 pounds. She feels fantastic about herself and her health. She brings the same enthusiasm, dedication, and perseverance to everything she does, especially her work at JANUS.
Tabby is a valued teammate who brings excellence in all she does to our clients, her teammates, and herself. We are honored to have such a dedicated employee celebrating 15 years with JANUS and look forward to celebrating her accomplishments as she progresses in her JANUS career.
