JANUS' General Services Administration (GSA) Professional Engineering Services (PES), Schedule 871 GSA Schedule 871(PES) is a worldwide federal Supply Schedule contract issued by the General Services Administration. PES is an Multiple Award Indefinite Quantity contract available o any agency of the U.S. Government and a streamlined, cost-effective method of acquiring high-quality engineering and technical services. Formerly known as MDETS (Multi-Disciplined Engineering and Technical Support Services), PES continues to meet its customers' engineering needs in multiple disciplines (civil, chemical, electrical, and mechanical).
The Professional Engineering Services (PES), provides a streamlined approach for federal agencies to access qualified firms in a multitude of engineering disciplines. This Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) grants agencies direct access to the commercial experts who can address the needs of the federal engineering community. There are six Special Item Numbers (SINs) that comprise the distinct phases of an engineering project. These SINs cover the major disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, components of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, as well as sub-disciplines such as aerospace, nuclear, bioengineering, and marine architecture.
