Jeannette C. Loop

Chairwoman

Jeannette is the Founder and Chairwoman of JANUS Research Group, Inc. (JANUS) headquartered in Evans, Georgia.  Jeannette is married to Tony L. Loop and has two sons, Samuel and Jonathan.  A long time resident of Georgia, Jeannette was born to Ramon and Teresa Cruz Sabater and is one of nine children.  Jeannette has worked for the Federal Government for over twenty-five years beginning her career as a Department of Defense (DoD) contracting specialist where she became an expert in developing and managing Government contracts.  She founded JANUS in April of 1997 after recognizing the Federal Government trend of outsourcing Software, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support.
 
Jeannette believed that she could bring a strong military work ethic, experience and desire to provide superior technical support to the business community while being able to continue serving her country. Under Jeannette's leadership and vision, JANUS has grown to over 260 employees and approximately 80 subcontractors located throughout the United States.  JANUS is now considered one of DoD’s industry leaders in SETA and Training support and we currently supports six DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Acquisition Programs.  In 2003, the Small Business Administration (SBA) recognized Jeannette and JANUS for being the SBAs Minority Small Business Person and Firm of the Year for Georgia and the Southeast Region.  Jeannette is a believer in volunteering and is giving back to the local military and civilian community.  She is involved in many local and national charities as well as serving as an Industry Board Member for the National Science Center.  She attributes her success and the success of JANUS as the result of being fortunate enough to be living in the greatest country in the world, the United States of America.

Tony Loop

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Tony Loop is the CEO of JANUS and leads a corporate team of technical, software, engineering, intelligence, training and business professionals with approximately $150M in contracts specializing in enterprise efforts primarily within the Federal Government including the Department of Defense (DoD).  Tony is a corporate leader who specializes in operational requirements and enterprise system architecting for tactical and strategic DoD Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Sensors, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.  With over 35 years of business, tactical operations and global information systems experience, Tony is well versed in combat and materiel development, acquisition and fielding, enterprise operational and system architecture, concepts of operations, concept design, training and operational management, long range planning, and business operations.  He authored and was the principal system architect for the United States Army's Warfighter Information Network (WIN) - Tactical. Tony has an MBA from Brenau University and served over 20 years in the United States Armed Forces with numerous key assignments at the tactical, operational, and strategic level.  Tony is an Industrial Board Member of the National Science Center.

Brian D. Lesieur

President

Brian joined JANUS Research Group in 2008 and has led JANUS’ rapid expansion into new business markets and the formation of numerous new business partnerships.  Prior to joining the JANUS team, Brian served as a Colonel in the U.S. Army, culminating with his last assignment at Joint Task Force North (JTF-North), NORTHCOM, where he served as the Senior Intelligence Officer (J2/SIO) and lead integrator of DOD Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities in direct support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) responsible for monitoring and securing the U.S. Homeland. A combat veteran, Brian has an unparalleled level of expertise in the use and integration of leading edge technologies and procedures designed to enhance security relating to critical infrastructure, border security, counterterrorism, counterdrug, counter-smuggling, and maritime domain awareness. During his career, he served in numerous key command and staff positions at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels within the United States Armed Forces. 

Ron Demeter

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Ron Demeter joined JANUS Research Group in July 2011and assumed responsibility as the Chief Operating Officer.  As COO, Mr. Demeter leads a diverse organization that provides systems engineering and technical assistance, program and acquisition management, combat development, IT services and training, and leading edge virtual training product lines to the defense, intelligence, homeland security, and federal civil  markets.  Before joining JANUS, Mr. Demeter spent seventeen years in the IT industry where he served in numerous senior management positions leading growth-orientated U.S. Defense and International operational and business development activities.  Prior to joining industry in 1994, Mr. Demeter served for 22 years in the U.S. Army, retiring from the Military Intelligence Corps.

Jeremy J. Wagoner

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Jeremy has been with JANUS since 2000 and is a seasoned financial executive with more than 20 years in accounting and financial management. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for upholding strong financial management and accountability while providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control. During his career, Jeremy has held several key accounting positions and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Commerce with a Major in Accounting from the University of Alabama. 

John K. Dewey

Executive Vice President, Communications Enterprise Division (CED)

Joining JANUS in 2009, John has over 24 years of military service culminating with his last assignment at the US Army Signal Center as the TRADOC Capability Manager for Tactical Radios where he was the Army's centralized manager for combat development of tactical radios.   A combat veteran, John is a tactical communications expert with unmatched experience in combat development.  He possesses two Masters Degrees:  Electrical Engineering and Strategic Studies. During his career, he served in numerous key command and staff positions at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels within the United States Armed Forces.

James (Jay) E. Griffith

Executive Vice President, Intelligence Solutions Division (ISD)

Joining JANUS in 2009, Jay has over 26 years of military service culminating with his last assignment as the Chief of Force Development Intelligence Division, Department of the Army, G8, where he served as the lead for Planning Programming and Budgeting for all Army Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and Electronic Warfare material solutions.   A combat veteran, Jay has an unparalleled level of expertise in the use and integration of leading edge technologies, operational and tactical employment of intelligence collection capabilities, and training.  During his career, he served in numerous key command and staff positions at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels within the United States Armed Forces.

J. Scott Martin

Executive Vice President, Engineering & Innovation Division (EID)

Scott has been with JANUS since September of 2000.  Scott currently manages technical, engineering and training professionals working contracts specializing in simulation and training efforts primarily within the Department of Defense, and other U.S. Government Agencies.  Prior to joining JANUS, he worked for the MITRE Corporation where he supported numerous Army and Air Force Research and Development projects.  As site leader for MITREs presence at the U.S. Army Signal Center at Ft Gordon, Georgia, he acted as a technical representative for the Commanding General and Command Staff and worked closely with the Director of Combat Developments in the architectural design of emerging U.S. Army conceptual architectures to include the First Digitized Division and the Interim Brigade Combat Teams.  Scott holds a masters degree in Electrical Engineering with specialty in Communications Theory from George Washington University and two undergraduate degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

David F. Sales

Executive Vice President, Logistics & Technical Services Division (LTSD)

David Sales’ 21 years of military service included assignments at the National Guard Bureau, the Professional Education Center’s Chief of Operations and Training, and the Chief of the Installations, Logistics, and Environmental Training Center where he was responsible for the training of 30,000 full-time National Guard Soldiers.  David has extensive knowledge of logistics applications that manage the U.S. Army’s maintenance and supply chains.  Additionally, he was also responsible for the Enterprise Architecture business process blueprint of the 54 states and territories within the Installation and Logistics communities.  He has knowledge in SAP and ARIS software suites.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Arkansas State University and a master degree in General Administration from Central Michigan.   

David A. Teeples

Director of Strategic Operations

In July 2011, Dave Teeples assumed responsibility as the Director of Strategic Operations, JANUS Research Group, Inc.  Dave has over 30 years of military service culminating with his last assignment at U.S. Central Command, where he served as the Chief of Information Operations, J3.  A combat veteran, Dave commanded the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment and over 8,000 Soldiers in Iraq.  During his career, he served in a number of strategic assignments including the Assistant Division Commander of 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, the Commandant of the U.S. Army Armor School, and the 43d Chief of Armor at Fort Knox, Kentucky.  Dave holds a Master of Education Administration Degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Science Degree in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University.

Charles (Charlie) W. Hof

Director of Operations

Charlie joined JANUS Research Group in 2008 and has helped lead JANUS’ rapid expansion into new business markets, the formation of new business partnerships and the build up of its infrastructure to support its remarkable continued growth.   Charlie has over 25 Years of military experience in leading, organizing, managing, and producing all-source intelligence requirements and products to support national, strategic, operational, and tactical level decision makers. Throughout his distinguished career, he developed innovative intelligence workflow and engineering procedures to improve information fusion and dissemination in support of the United States Special Operations Forces community. A combat veteran, Charlie is a recognized leader and subject matter expert in intelligence fusion, data mining, collection management and the integration of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

Judith L. Pagac

Director of Human Resources

Judith is the Director of Human Resources and key member of the JANUS leadership team. Employed with JANUS since 2004, Judy strives to accomplish positive business results through continuous recruitment of top quality candidates, retention of highly skilled employees, and ensuring the JANUS work environment is conducive for mission success.   Since joining the company, Judy has developed one of the most comprehensive employee benefit programs available in industry. Prior to joining JANUS, Judy spent more than 16 years at Salant Corporation and Perry Ellis International as the Director of Human Resources where she oversaw all HR functions for numerous retail outlet stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
