Communications and Information Technology

JANUS designs and deploys operational networks, performs network operations (NetOps), operates help desks, conducts training, executes configuration management, assesses hardware and software, tests hardware and software, and manages change.  JANUS provides  Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DAICAP) services.

IT Training

JANUS provides information technology training to the Army National Guard JFHQ J6 staff. JANUS provides analysis, design, development, and maintenance to 37 National Guard Professional Education Courses, POIs, Lesson Plans, Master Training Schedules, and DL Courses.   JANUS was instrumental in the establishment of the COMSEC Custodian, the CISCO Academy, the Microsoft Academy, and the industry certification testing capabilities for the NG PEC.  JANUS also provides the planning, coordinating and executing of Information Technology Training for all National Guard IT personnel, functional, and end users.

Logistics 

JANUS understands the Army’s logistics mission which is to provide timely, accurate logistics support to commanders who are performing continuous full spectrum military operations, whether they be State, Federal or expeditionary in nature.  JANUS executes logistics services, training development support using TRADOC’s Instructional System Design/Systems Approach to Training (ISD/SAT), and training delivery.

Army National Guard Support

JANUS provides Information Technology Services, Information Technology Training, Logistics Services, Logistics Training, and practical simulation that enhance the readiness of the Army National Guard.  Our National Guard team understands the challenges of the Army National Guard evolution from a strategic reserve to an operational force, the ARNG structure, dual missions, impacts of the ARFORGEN model, and the geographically dispersed nature of the ARNG.
