Joint Task Force Logistics Senior Planner

Position Overview

****This position is contingent upon award***

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Perform as Lead Contractor to advise and assist JTF staff with Pre-deployment Site Survey (PDSS) when directed.

  • Capture, identify, and disseminate logistics, training, and operational requirements necessary to ensure deploying forces transition seamlessly.

  • Provide instruction in accordance with the Government-provided syllabus.

  • Train JTF personnel regarding current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements.

  • Support approximately 6 classes per year with a notional class size of 40 personnel.

  • Provide functional expertise in JTF and/or Command and Control operations to include force bed-down, JTF types and composition, manpower issues, fielding issues, technical support (e.g. small computers, video teleconference communication, and secure telephone communication), and other operations issues.

  • Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Conceptual Operational Plans, Training, and Execution Senior Planner to review, develop, and prepare JTF CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of JTF process execution.

  • Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Computer and Communications Senior Planner to define the hardware and software requirements and configurations for JTF exercises both at home and deployed.

  • Assist lead contractor Master Scheduler/Event Coordinator to track, or generate, comprehensive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) capturing key milestones within current JTF systems (Global Command and Control System-Joint, GCCS-J) and depicting relationship to key milestones of related programs (Deployable Joint Command and Control System, DJC2).

Minimum KSAs

  • 2 years of joint logistics operations within a Joint or Combined Staff

  • 2 years of experience in the JOPP

Desired KSAs

  • 5 years of joint logistics operations within a Joint or Combined Staff

  • 1 year of experience within a ground maneuver staff an
